The hosts were very warm and welcoming. A wonderful dinner was served despite the fact we hadn’t been able to inform them earlier in the day that we would require an evening meal. The curry leaves and mangoes were picked from the trees on the property. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. Our hosts were extremely helpful with places to visit locally and our onward travel arrangements.

A super friendly and welcoming homestay with a private upstairs area that includes two beds, a cozy living room, a small kitchen space, and even air conditioning. The hosts made me feel right at home and even arranged a driver to show me around the area. Dinner was absolutely delicious — clearly made with so much love and care. Highly recommended!

Beautifully maintained, clean and spacious. I felt incredibly welcomed, safe and cared for in this homestay. Lalee and Suba helped me with transportation and other necessities. I am very thankful and grateful for them and their property.

We loved this home stay and were made to feel very welcome by the lovely family. They helped us organise a tour and cooked a delicious evening meal and equally delicious breakfast. We only stayed one night but it will be memorable.

We had such a special stay at Enoch - we left with beautiful memories and new friends! The food was OUTSTANDING, the hospitality amazing and the room was uber spacious and clean. It was really easy to organise renting a moto via Lalee too. The family taught us so much about their lives and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We couldn’t recommend staying here more - thank you so much ☺️

Our stay at this cozy homestay was absolutely delightful! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the tasty homemade breakfast—it was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. The room was impressively big and came equipped with thoughtful amenities like a kettle, water bottles, and a drying rack, which added to our comfort and convenience. The location also offered easy access to nearby attractions, making it incredibly convenient for us to explore. The hosts went above and beyond, even providing us with great food recommendations that turned out to be fantastic! It was truly a memorable experience, and we can’t recommend this homestay enough to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming retreat.

We had a wonderful, short stay in Mannar at Lalee and Suba's beautiful home. The host, Lalee and his family stay on the ground floor while we were hosted on the entire first floor, with a private entrance. The rooms are clean, spacious and there is a small kitchenette and living room with a small quaint balcony. The day we were checking out, an air conditioner was being installed at the premises. The family does a wonderful job of providing a comfortable stay for guests.

The internet speeds was pretty poor but that could be because of low coverage in general on Mannar Island.
