Really enjoy the tv and kitchen. Excellent location and walking distance to the main city center

The interior design was lovely. Parking close by. Comfortable beds.

The apartment lacked essentials such as detergent, paper towel, tissues, body wash in order to employ apartment instructions to keep clean. Cleaning was average - hair ties under sofa, rubbish between couch cushions, dirty floors.

This property is very clean. Exceptionally comfortable. Very modern and accessible.

The Wifi is non existent. We tried dayy to connect to the listed network in vain. If you planning on doing any remote work here while you are here, you will be disappointed.

A little hard to find

Location was fine with speedy access to York railway station. My first day was spent at York Races and it was easy to pick up the shuttle bus from the station. On day two I found the location somewhat divorced from York's main attractions. I set out to walk to York Minster but took a taxi. Younger legs would be happier walking between sight-seeing points but the accommodation is some distance for the less mobile. I had been to York twice before so some attractions were no longer on my wish list. On that basis the location was okay by me and there were convenient pubs/ restaurants nearby.

I was in apartment 2 on the ground floor and it overlooks the road. I found it a trifle disconcerting that the front window was open to the world at large, and overlooked by the office block opposite. Smokers and mobile phone users also stood across the road in direct vision and the only way to avoid them was to close the curtains. Blinds might be a good option.

Misleading advertising. Supposed to be Luxury Apartment but we didn’t find anything luxurious about it. Cleanliness of the property was not great either, you could have written your name in the dust on the kitchen cupboards! The change over cleaners definitely need to improve on their standards. Maintenance of the property was being carried out too, which we should have been made aware of as I believe this may have contributed to the dust issue.
