Crescent Court modern and luxurious Apartments York

I recently stayed at this Crescent York Apartments and was quite disappointed with the experience. I've stayed in self-service, self check-in apartments before, but this was the first time I encountered a host who did not provide basic consumables like soap and shampoo. It's essential to mention this in the description if these items won't be provided. By that logic, can they also decide not to provide towels? The absence of these basics made the stay inconvenient. Additionally, the toilet wasn't cleaned well, which added to the unpleasant experience. While I understand the concept of self-service, there's a clear difference between service and consumables. We need consumables to service ourselves. Overall, I'd rate my stay a 6 out of 10. Tissue papers were provided, which makes it even more baffling why soap and shampoo were omitted. I hope future guests have a better experience and that the host considers providing these basic necessities.

Great location - easy to walk to the walls and the city centre. Everything we needed, including teabags! Very clean. Good kitchen/dining area/lounge. Two bathrooms. Excellent communication with owners. We felt welcome and at home.

One bedroom was a little too warm as we couldn’t open the ceiling window but there may be an easy fix. We just couldn’t figure it out!

The location of the apartment was perfect for arriving by train and very easy walk into the city centre. It was a very clean modern apartment excellent for two old school friends meeting up in York - it was very comfortable and allowed us the time and privacy to have a good catch up.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location was great. Comfortable surroundings, adequately equipped, spacious apartment, 2 x bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Local bars & restaurants. If needed, close to the railway. On a local bus route. Hop on and hop off tourist bus close by.

2nd bedroom had a skylight window with a blind that couldn't be opened. This made the room dark and stuffy as we couldn't open the window due to the location being out of reach. Bathroom floors didn't look as if they had been washed. Could have been an oversight as everything else was perfect.

Very modern beutiful apartments, probably the best I've stayed in. Airblade fans in all rooms
