"Great experience Ladejah"

Ladejah is by FAR the most professional and nicest resort representative I have ever met . Very positive attitude who cares about her job which is hard to find . I chose to come to beach cove over Baywatch resort because of her customer service and friendliness. She is incredible

"Horrible customer service and overall experience"

Carried early and they said our room wasn’t ready. We get that, so we killed time and went back about 5 minutes before 4:00pm (check in time) they said our room still wasn’t ready, even though they were handing out keys to other people. Staff was rude upon arrival, both times. When we finally got our room, it wasn’t very well kept, minimal kitchen stuff. Then, we wanted to stay an extra night, went down to ask and at first they said sure no problem, then told us they couldn’t accommodate another night that they were sold out. However, we could have booked a room online, so they clearly weren’t sold out. The entire experience was one of the worst we’ve ever had at BeachCove and we’ve been coming to err for years. At this point, we won’t come back, which is sad, but the customer service was terrible and the too just wasn’t as nice as other times we’ve stayed.

"Absolute Nightmare Experience"

Booked at Beach Cove Resort on (3/27/26) for 4 days. The total for the four night stay would be $1858.67. An additional $12 parking fee per day would be added at check-in. This would mean the total stay should have been $1906.67. We paid a deposit of $435.83 to reserve the room. Leaving a balance due of $1470.84. At check-in (4/5/26) our card was charged $1970.84 (no one had an explanation for why this amount other than employee was new). In total now having paid $2406.67. The card was refunded $500 on 4/5/26. We were then told our passes for Family Kingdom that had been purchased weren't available and we would be refunded the $120. I met with the Asst GM and spoke with her on multiple occasions regarding us still being overcharged by $435.83 (initial deposit) and her claiming that we owed the entire $1906.67 (and that our vacation total was the $2406.67). Spoke with GM who offered 20% off room stay for our inconvenience and for all errors to be corrected (that total was $308.74). After that both managers refused to speak with us. In all we were overcharged $935.83+$120 (tickets)=$1055.83. We were in all refunded (including the 20%) $500+$186.98+$308.74=$995.72. Summary of what we should have owed Trip total $1906.67 Deposit paid $435.83 Balance due $1470.84 - $120 (tickets we never received) =$1350.84 Ended up paying resort $2406.67 with $995.72 being refunded =$1410.95 being paid =overpaid $60.11 ($1410.95-$1350.84) GM discount of $308.74 if applied correctly to remaining bill of $1350.84. Would have left balance $1350.84-$308.74=$1,042.10. In all our refund should be an additional $1410.95-$1042.10=$368.85. After speaking with GM, asst GM called us to explain what was being refunded, and that our bill should be corrected and I asked to pick up a copy of new billing. She said I could come get it. When I went to lobby to get copy, front desk handed me a copy and when I saw the bill still wasn't correct and asked to speak to her, I was told she was busy. I asked for GM and was told I could only request to speak to him by speaking to Asst GM (who refused to speak to us any longer). And I've been unable to resolve this issue as there is little contact information available online of whom to reach out too. In addition to the billing error, the fan in our bathroom didn't work. We reported this to the front desk and Asst GM. Nothing was done. The singular time we were able to speak to the we explained our bathroom fan issue, and within minutes maintenance came to examine. It was determined a new motor was needed and they just needed to go grab it (day 2 of stay). Upon checking out maintenance had never come back to replace fan motor.

"not bad/ could use some improvement"

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights first week of april. I wanted to bring my son and his family. He is in the military and was called in and could not go. Trying to get someone on the phone was almost impossible. They have a few different companies that handle the bookings. When I would call, I would be on hold for 10 min. then would get disconnected. When I finally got through it cost me over 200. to cancel because I did not get the "insurance". So I kept 1 room and stayed 1 night with my gf. (you must cancel outside of 2 weeks for a refund) Then when you get there they try to sell you "room insurance" in case the room gets damaged. Parking was 12.50 at the desk but my card was charged 18.50+ another 25.50. I wont bother calling to complain because of the aggravation trying to get through. The room was really nice on the 3rd floor with only 2 elevators (there are 15 floors) the kids were out of school this week, but its off season so not many guests while I was there. Can't imagine trying to check out during peak season from an upper floor. Pools were heated and nice (lazy river not working) but not many chairs poolside. 1 min. to beach was nice. Not many attractions for families in n. myrtle. The Ripleys aquarium in s. myrtle (about 12mi.) was great. Just don't fall for the upgrades. You can get them later if you choose. My gf and I went for basic admission and was 94.00 for the 2 of us. All in all this place has the potential of being a top shelf place, it just has a few drawbacks. If anyone in management would like to contact me personally, I would welcome that. dsuar@comcast.net

"It was a fun time and I would stay here again."

It was spacious enough for us and that it was oceanfront.

The doorknob to the bedroom pulled off as soon as we tried to open the door from the inside. The mop on the balcony was missing the pad.
