Beach Cove Resort

We traveled for a few days for our schools track team. This was a perfect place to stay. It has multiple pools, hot tubs, lazy river and quick access to the beach. If you would like to go to the board walk with all of the activities it is about a 22 minute drive. Tons of restaurants and things to do here. The room we stayed in was nice, I just wish I got a bigger room. However, the front desk ladies are nice and housekeeping was great and the maintenance guys doing the pools were great. With the large amount of people coming in and out they were keeping everything clean. I also can’t leave out the bartender at the little tiki hut. She was amazing!

We love this place. The staff is wonderful and the area is really great. Jason in maintenance is incredibly knowledgeable and can fix anything and he is very friendly.

It was clean, comfortable, and a great location! The room size was great for up to 4 people. The pool area was well maintained. Staff that we met beyond the front desk were very friendly.

Front desk staff was cold and hurried instead of friendly and warm. I felt like i was bothering the girl instead of being welcomed. The checkout was cold, too. We weren't told ahead of time about the parking fee. Our bathroom door wouldn't close.

Resort was nice and rooms were clean. Front desk was very helpful when any problems occurred. View from the balcony was amazing. Conveniently located.

Great location and access was good.

Front desk associates were rude and short with every customer I saw. My original booking was online with a different credit card. When I checked in the voided my original booking and recharged my card for entire stay even though I had paid 2/3 of my stay prior. So that tied up several hundred dollars on my card due to error by front desk staff. When I checked out I finally got to talk to manager after 30 minutes of negotiations with front desk. She apologized and said my original booking should of never been cancelled. We were never given pool passes, we never knew about breakfast, very poor communication. They we were charged $44 or $250 for insurance on top of our stay. Plus a $12 a day for parking. Later we found out breakfast was $14 a day per person. So much for an inclusive booking, ended up costing an extra $200 between parking, insurance, and breakfast.

The location was excellent, however the cleanliness of room 1514 could have been cleaner and a 25 gallon water tank isn't big enough for than one person to shower. The value was very good. The noise level was excellent. Our room was very quiet. The service people were very personable. Roy came to check our water heater, the lovely girls at the front desk were great. Overall a good place to stay.
