Peaceful Oasis <3 with a nice pool, where peacocks chill out sometimes :D Everything was very clean and the family is super nice and attentive. The family father always drove us to the center and was super caring. Our favourite food was when we did the cooking class with the family, so tasty absolutely delicious and personal. Was a highlight of our trip - we even got the recipes and a coconut- cookingspoon - so awesome ! Mama of the Homestay is a brilliant chef and we had a lot of fun! Everything is perfectly well organised. We would book again !!!

Welcoming and friendly family, the location is great in the middle of nowhere, with a pool surrounded by bushes making it a really peaceful spot to unwind. Also recommend the cooking class which was great. 10 minutes drive from Lions rock so ideally placed for a pre dawn hike.

Do bring earplugs - the location obviously means lots of noisy wildlife at night!

Tout était parfait ! Accueil chaleureux et très bonne nourriture à la carte, nous avons pu prendre tous les nos repas sur place. Ils sont très gentils et ont un service de tuktuk que nous avons utilisé pour le rocher du lion et de Pidurangala (le chauffeur s’est même arrêté pour nous montrer plusieurs endroits et prendre des photos) + une journée à Polonnaruwa (prix très corrects!). Je recommande vivement cet endroit très calme et parfait avec un bébé. Merci à tous, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Everything.

Beautiful homestay with a very nice family. We enjoyed tasty homemade breakfasts and dinners, a beer by the pool, elephant visits at night. The family arranged tuktuks for our adventures and also has a jeep for safari. We are sad to leave here after 4 days and hope to come back one day.

Sri Lankan coffee is not so strong. So get to appreciate good tea.

Ganz tolles Anwesen in ruhiger Lage, trotzdem in schneller Distanz zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten! Die Hosts haben uns alles organisiert und waren unglaublich lieb und haben uns immer geholfen. Sogar bis zum Schluss als sie uns sicher in den richtigen Bus zur Weiterreise gebracht haben. Danke für diesen herzlichen Aufenthalt ❤️✨🙏

Nous avons tout aimé, (sauf le petit déjeuner). L'accueil, la gentillesse du personnel, l'équipement, la piscine, le service, la disponibilité du staff, le jardin, le calme, les oiseaux (hornbill!! calaos) dans le jardin, les lits confortables, la douche chaude, café et thé disponibles dans les chambres, les dîners très bons, l'endroit est très beau, ils travaillent beaucoup pour améliorer l'hébergement. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Le petit déjeuner, omelette froide, (très salée et très poivrée) tous les jours, petit déjeuner très varié, mais épicé et complètement froid. Café beaucoup trop léger, franchement pas bon du tout. (heureusement qu'il y a des sachets Nescafé dans les chambres) A part le petit déj', c'était super.

Die Eigentümer waren sehr herzlich und haben alles bis hin zur Tuk tuk Fahrt organisiert bei Ausflügen. Der Pool ist super. Und das Essen fenomenal!

Nice quiet Place with really kind owners .

There was construction works going on until after 10 pm. Unlikely the owner couldn’t stop it 😒 we tried to sleep because off the sunrise hike we wanted to do next morning.
