The Urban Hideout

Nice big apartment in a very local house. Worth the money. There is also a restaurant attached to the house, but we didn't eat there, quite touristy, which doesn't suit me.

Don't expect a 5 star view from the terrace, but at least it's authentic Sri Lankan. They could put a fridge in the apartment.

房间的装修很不错，有审美，家具也比较新，而且是独栋的房子，附近也很安静。房间打扫的很干净

最难以忍受的是霉味，我可以理解这是因为该城市气候太湿润了，但至少可以放点除湿的设备或者香薰。还有个不能忍受的是没有被子，只有个保温毯，我们只能小心翼翼地穿着衣服睡觉。

Location was ok

It was moldy, damp, it smelled like mold. It was not clean. There were cockroaches. The sheets smelled bad, like sewage pipe.

The location is kind of okay. It was a quiet place, close to the center city.

The room is unfortunately very wet and moldy. Additionally little bit cold, but it’s probably for all city. There was also a bad smell bcs of those mentioned. There was no linen for the blanket and I wouldn’t bet they change it

Stayed here for a day and had a very pleasant experience. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with cutlery in the kitchen. The location is perfect—right in the city center, with many restaurants within walking distance. The highlight of the stay is the breathtaking view of the entire golf course, which you definitely shouldn’t miss. Special thanks to the lovely owner and his family—they are warm, caring, and extremely helpful. The owner even dropped me at the bus station in his car, which was truly kind and thoughtful.
