Hotelito YUM KAAX

I love the concept of not having a reception…no need to deal with people. It’s fully automated and super clever. The location is absolutely on point. I stayed in another place in Merida that was “super well located” right next to Plaza Grande but it was noisy and chaotic. I couldn’t sleep with all the street noise and music. YUM KAAX is a few blocks from Plaza Grande, perfectly close to everything but far enough for peace and quiet. The property is long, so it’s separated from the street, making it even more peaceful. The design and layout are spot on. The rooms are comfortable and stylish. The price is unreal for what you get. A solid 10/10.

We loved this place. Super well located, beautiful, comfy and the service was amazing. Out of our whole trip, this was the best value for the price. We’d come back a thousand times!

Nice appartment and has everything you need. Just be aware that you can only check in early or leave later if you pay 200 pesos an hour. Even if your room is ready.

Bed was comfy and it was nice to have access to a small kitchen. The area was quiet which was great for getting a good nights rest.

The pool was not usable during our stay which would have been disappointing if we were staying longer than just one night.

The pool area was perfect and essential in the midday heat. The style overall was beautiful. The cleaning ladies are stars, super nice and friendly, always doing their best to keep the place running.

The bed was too soft and small but that’s a personal preference. Also the initial communication is clearly ChatGPT and feels forced and weird. But aside from that the place is perfect.

Spotless clean, great facility and very quiet at night. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and even some ground coffee. Very beautiful common area with drinking water provided.

My internet goes on and off specially at night when everybody is using their devices.

Lovely studio apartment. Very comfortable. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Not the best location. About a 20 minute walk to the center. It would be difficult for others to get around if they were unable to walk, unless you relied on taxis.

It’s an amazing hideaway! The pool is very well maintained and it’s incredibly quiet! Very relaxing.

I would recommend this location to guests with a car. A bit far To walk from the Centro at night.

Beautiful oasis in the bustle of the town, beautiful chill out area with pool. Clear instructions from the staff. Complimentary coffee, water and beer. The fan on for a cool enter to our Accomodation. Well equipped kitchen. Two delicious cafes on yards away, one is organic and vegan and vegetarian.

Nice, clean and spacious room. Comfy bed and great shower. The garden area was really nice. The kitchen was well equipped.

One of the windows couldnt be locked but in the end it wasnt really an issue because of the fixed mosquito net. They did tell me it would be fixed the next day, but that didnt happen...
