WM Garden Cottage

We stayed at WM Cottage for just one night on our way back from a Highlands trip, and honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer. The whole family was so happy and comfortable during our stay — it truly felt like a home away from home. May has taken such thoughtful care of the cottage. Everything from the furniture to the tableware was stylish and well-curated, and even my mother-in-law, who has a very discerning eye, kept complimenting her taste! If we ever visit Edinburgh again as a family, there’s no question — we’ll absolutely be staying here again.

We had a superb experience here in Edinburgh for the 40' birthday of my husband.The cottage is marvellous, elegant,sophisticated and immaculate.Every room is decorated with exquisite taste and chic design pieces.It is equipped with all modern comforts and beyond.The host (May) has worked behind the scenes to make our stay, the most pleasant experience ever. From the home made lemon cake and granola, the small treats around the house and the welcome card, everything has been perfect. It is in a safe and gorgeous neighborhood and at walkable distance from the city centre. Highly recommend!!

The location was very near to a bus stop which made it easy to get anywhere in the Edinburgh area.

The apartment is on two levels and beautifully decorated with lots of space and high ceilings and has a comfortable garden area for relaxing. The hosts have provided everything you could need and were super helpful and responded quickly when we had an enquiry. The city centre is easily walkable from here and there are plenty of good bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Take time to explore the local area.

A wonderful and peaceful stay at WM Cottage! Everything was thoughtfully prepared — from the welcome card and homemade treats to the cozy atmosphere. The cottage was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing break. It was also incredibly dog-friendly, and our dogs settled in straight away. May was so kind and helpful throughout — a truly lovely host. Highly recommended, and I’d love return

So spacious, room for relaxing inside and out on the two patios. Extremely well equipped, plenty of crockery and cutlery too. The owner kindly supplied extra glasses when we had local friends visit for a drink. Extremely comfortable beds, lots of hot water, warm rooms. May, the host with the most.! Thank you, we loved our stay, so convenient for our son’s wedding and local gatherings. A beautiful part of Edinburgh with many local amenities. We will be back x

Absolutely amazing, everything thought about by the host May, even left us a welcome cake and a few essentials. Ideal for us 6 adults with three bedrooms and three bathrooms (2 of which are en-suite) Don’t forget to use the cinema room and outdoor spaces. Ideal location and the centre attractions can be reached by walking or public transport. Would definitely visit here again!

Excellent location and a lovely, spacious property, tastefully decorated and with modern , well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Cinema room and outdoor table tennis were fun bonuses. Off street parking for our two cars was a great help. We just loved everything including the generous breakfast pack and delicious lemon cake!
