Lovely property, everything you need.

Lovely large rooms. Great outdoor space. Although not bang in the centre of Edinburgh, it was a 15 minute bus ride away and we never had to wait more than a minute for a bus. Host's thoughtfulness apparent in lovely touches like fresh flowers on arrival to popcorn in the cinema room.

Would have liked a cafetiere.

Location good for getting into Edinburgh on bus or taxi without being right in centre. Excellent size for adult family. Parking very useful

We had the best stay here at WM Garden Cottage a very stylish and clean house, perfect location for exploring the city! The attention to detail was second to none which made our stay here very comfortable and enjoyable! We would certainly come back and recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Edinburgh, thanks again to May who was the perfect host ☺️

Nothing it was all amazing!

Spacious and comfortable with all you need for a relaxing stay in Edinburgh. Very quiet too which meant a good nights sleep. Well equipped in the kitchen and super outside space which can be enjoyed in the better weather. The most lovely hostess who provided some goodies which were appreciated.

The stairs are steep going down to the basement area where the kitchen and lounge area are so access to a downstairs toilet would have been useful. Some attention to detail would elevate its luxury feel, for example the paint on bedroom windows where it’s down to the wood, checking lightbulbs as some were out and some of the towels were a little hard.

Beds were super comfy Decor was modern and very stylish Outside space was great It was beautifully warm with lots of hot water and good showers Arrival pack was a nice touch, as were fresh flowers. Thank you

Stairs were quite steep for us oldies We’d have appreciated more cups and cutlery so we didn’t need to wash up every time We’d have liked more dishwasher tablets

May was an excellent host, the fridge was generously stocked on arrival. The house is lovely and well designed, the kitchen has everything you need, the outside space is great, and the cinema room is a real plus on rainy days! It's easy to access the city centre on public transport, and there are facilities close by as well.
