The heart of Huddersfield hideaway

Great location, appartment (5) clean, kitchen facilities great. Bright and airy and quiet with the windows closed. Reasonably priced accommodation.

Keybox code was incorrect so couldn't access key, fortunately someone was at hand and opened keybox after consulting property owner/manager. Shower didn't work. Itried contacting property via Booking, without success. TV wouldn't switch on using either FireTv remotes provided. I even bought new batteries, to no avail. Immediately on entering the property from street level I noticed an unpleasant smell,which persisted over my two night stay. Also there was a lot of mail stacked up on the dirty stairs.

Very poor instructions to apartment anybody else books just tell them it's next door to rymans stationery plus bed was rock hard needs new mattress and key code needs to be correct on arrival

The location was very convenient and the cleanliness was okay.

The flat is in a very convenient location. The cleanliness was okay. The first issue I had was that they had given me the wrong door code. The second issue I had was the lack of communication. I messaged the host several times regarding parking, as the details in the advert were vague, but there was no response. After about a week of no response, I had to ring them. They promised to send me the parking details via text, but they never sent any information. When we spoke on the phone, the host was very kind and reassuring, and again promised to send the details via text, but did not do so. I had to send several more messages and ring them again, but they still didn’t communicate. The third issue was that the flat is a little bit noisy. The fourth issue was that, when I arrived at the flat, the TV was not working. I called the host to inform them about the situation. The host said that they would send someone to fix the TV within 30 minutes. However, 30 minutes turned into nearly 3 hours. I messaged the host to ask for updates, but there was still a lack of communication. When the host arrived to fix the TV, he couldn’t fix it, as he had to go and buy a spare part. He said that he would be back after 15 minutes, but he never returned — even by the time I left the next day. There was no communication at any point.

Staff provided wrong pin to us to open lockbox for key. We called few time and messeage but no reply. We wait until after 30 min and informed they provided wrong pin. We try to ask about the car park and can’t help at all as downstairs is not space.

Space, natural light, location

Great place in the heart of the town, but still not too noisy. Looks just like the photos and was well equipped. We had trouble with the key code, but it was solved with a phone call. I would definitely stay again

Good value, very budget, central location

Wrong lockbox code, had to call host; no information about wifi, had to call host. There were dirty socks over the smoke alarms in both rooms. Various pieces of furniture either worn down or broken.
