DEAccoglienza perfetta, gestore gentilissimo e simpatico. Cucina ottima e frutta fresca molto saporita. Posizione vicina al centro e a un piccolo mercato.
Le camere sono veramente datate, ammuffite e fredde. L'acqua della doccia difficile da gestire. Zero comfort. Lo posso consigliare solo a chi ha un budget super ridotto e per una notte. I proprietari in ogni caso hanno fatto il possibile, però consiglio una rinnovata generale.

LIDie Unterkunft ist extrem gemütlich eingerichtet. Es wirkt wie ein Chalet in der Bergen, in dem man gemütlich Tee und Kottu vor dem Feuer essen und trinken kann. Ausserdem ist das Personal extrem freundlich. Der Besitzer hat uns nach unserem Check-out sogar angerufen und gefragt, ob wir sicher am nächsten Ort angekommen sind. Zu 100% weiterzuempfehlen
DEDas Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und groß. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, wir hatten auch zweimal Abendessen und es war beide Mal sehr gut! Die Mitarbeiter sind alle total freundlich, wir haben sogar noch einen Kontakt für den Yala Nationalpark bekommen. Für 1300Rp wurden wir vom Bahnhof abgeholt.
Wir hatten anfangs Probleme uns mit dem WLAN zu verbinden, am nächsten Tag ging es dann aber einwandfrei

CAVery nice people at this place! It’s a great example of the Sri Lankan hospitality! Big common areas with restaurant and fire place! There is a stage with drums next to it. There was no band playing when I was there but the owner played guitar for us and sang some reggae songs! Good vibes! Imagine it would be fun if there were more people. The breakfast included was amazing! The best ever! And people working at the restaurant are amazing! Also very delicious curry for dinner! I had the tuktuk tour with Daraha recommended by the owner, and he is very good! We went everywhere and he was very attentive! He also picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. Good English as well!
My single room was at the top floor with narrow and steep stairs, but it didn’t bother me. Also the staff helped me with my bags. The room is a bit old and quite small. Could use some renovations. Probably not the best for tall people. Also more tables could be useful so i don’t have to put everything on the floor. Nuwara Eliya can really get cold at night, but hot shower helps.
BEWe were travelling as a family with a 3 year old child. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained a lot in Nuwara Eliya during our stay. therefore we were a bit stuck in the room/cottage. while the room is fine, it is not super comfortable to chill a whole afternoon. the restaurant is big but dark so we couldn't really spend our time there to read or play with our child. We decided to leave after one night. the staff and owner were very friendly and also quite flexible with us. it's surely a nice place for backpackers but maybe not the most suitable for a family.
