FEELS LIKE HOME !! The best thing about Nilam Guest House is the way they treat guests like family and guide you so warmly throughout the stay. By the time you leave, it honestly feels like you are leaving your own family behind.

Had a really comfortable stay at Nilam Guest House during the summer. The rooms were clean, peaceful, and properly maintained, which made the stay relaxing even in the hot weather. Ac was also superb !! The staff was polite and helpful throughout. Overall, a nice and budget-friendly place to stay with family or friends.

The property is very well maintained and clean at peaceful location which is still close proximity to main temple and centre of Bodh Gaya. There is AC - essential for summer heat. Beds were very comfortable. Family is extremely warm and kind and Sumit is beyond helpful - there for you any minute a day, taking care of your overall stay not only in house but helps with any advice or need, money exchange or taking you on a tour with his bike, helping organize transports and so on - beyond helpful! I am a single female traveler and I felt very safe and taken care of.

I was there at low season and there was no kitchen available - they offer food when there is season. However first restaurant is just few minutes away so I was not bothered. Also when I got sick they cooked rice and teas for me so overall it was not a downfall.

I had a really nice stay at Nilam Guest House for 5 days during this peak summer. Honestly it was more comfortable than I expected. I used to go out in early morning and evening to avoid the heat and after visiting Mahabodhi Temple I would come back by around 10:30 am after breakfast. The guest house is just 5 minutes walking distance from the temple which is very convenient. One thing I really liked was the AC. Even when outside temperature was around 42°C the AC was working perfectly. Within 10 minutes the room used to become properly cool and comfortable. After coming back from so much heat it really felt relaxing. Also AC was clean and well maintained which you don’t always see everywhere. Another good part is the greenery. Front and back both sides have nice green gardens. In this hot weather it feels fresh especially in morning time. The environment is calm and peaceful which I liked a lot. Rooms were clean, service was regular and everything was maintained properly. Overall it’s a good and peaceful place to stay even in very hot weather. If you are planning to visit Bodh Gaya in summer then Nilam Guest House is definitely a very good option.

The air conditioning at Nilam Guest House is simply outstanding. It cools the room within just 7–8 minutes, giving a chilled feeling almost like the Himalayas. What impressed me the more is that the regular maintenance..... the AC units are very clean, both inside and outside, with no dust at all. In peak summer, if you want a properly cooled, chilled & comfortable room, U can completely rely on this place. I stayed here for 7 days and my stay was wonderful at Nilam Guest House. I had wonderful experience staying at Nilam Guest House. The place is comfortable, well-managed, and gives a very welcoming feeling from the moment you arrive at Nilam Guest House Bodhgaya. A special mention to Sumit Singh, who truly makes the stay even better for guests😊. He is extremely helpful, kind hearted by nature, and full of positive energy. Talking to him feels easy and reassuring. He is also very sharp-minded and good personality with a nature of always ready to guide guests with useful advice and tips.😊 One thing I really appreciated is how he makes guests aware of fraudsters and money scams. His guidance is practical and something every traveler should follow. It shows how much he genuinely cares about the safety and comfort of his guests. If you are planning to travel in this hot summer and want a cool, relaxing stay, just go for Nilam Guest House without overthinking. It will meet your expectations and even go beyond them. I have stayed in other guest houses in Bodhgaya during summer where the AC did not work properly, so don’t just go by low price or budget. Choose comfort and reliability — Nilam Guest House is the right choice. Highly recommended....❤️❤️

I stayed in Nilam Guest House for 4 days and the experience was wonderful. The host and families are very warm welcoming and always stay ready to assist, said it from dinning suggestions, trip arrangements, to safety reminders for international travelers. The facilities are very clean and comfortable to use with good ventilation that made the stay very cozy and pleasant. The tiny gardens in the front and backyard also the whole guest house very lovely and soothing.
