Nilam Guest House is best place I stayed in Bodh Gaya! On printed price you will get mineral water and hot water for bathing in bathroom always...24 hours. Room very clean, neat and very peaceful. It's walkable like 4 to 5 minutes to Mahabodhi Temple...10 minutes to 80 Feet Sitting Buddha...and 5 to 6 minutes to Metta Buddha. What a garden at back side room which is rare to see in Indian big hotels! Air Conditioning(AC) works perfectly nice..within 10 minutes it made the room like it's winter !! New AC's was installed in most of the rooms which is very powerful which handled this heavy summer nicely !! Sumit helped me arranging taxi at the most cheapest price to Rajgir, Nalanda, airport, Gaya station & many places! He make everything easy. As much as I traveled in 10 years experience in Bodhgaya and other parts of India, this is the best guest house in whole India! I come twice a year in Bodhgaya and can tell it's the best and most peaceful in whole Bodhgaya...including hotels also. Family very nice, always welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend! 😊

Guest house was impeccably clean and beautiful, room simple and comfortable, bathroom and shower excellent (hot water a bonus :). Location is ideal; quiet and just far enough from main temple complex area to be quiet, but a very short and easy walk to temple and food, etc. Sumit and family were super friendly and warm, ready to help with any needs or issues or info about area, and made us feel very at home. I was sick for a day after arriving and stayed in resting the whole day and felt so peaceful and tranquil there even when ill. They also have a lovely, sunny roof with clothes lines so you can wash your own clothes and hang them, as well as a sweet back garden. Would highly recommend.

​Incredible hospitality! Sumit was an amazing guide for our first visit to Bihar, staying in touch throughout our stay to ensure everything went smoothly. Staying here felt like being with family—his parents were so kind and welcoming. We’ve never experienced such a high standard of care. A definite 5-star experience!

Very clean and tidy. Quiet. Peaceful. Sumit is a wonderful and kind host who communicates well and does every ing to make you feel at home. Our room had a garden view also. The location is a pleasant walk from mahabodhi temple and away from traffic and market noise. The best place to stay in town.

My stay at Nilam Guest House was very pleasant. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft and you can walk to Mahabodhi temple easily. Sumit and his family are very kind! I was having trouble booking my bus to leave and Sumit coordinated the entire pickup with the bus service since I do not have an Indian phone number. He made sure I got on the bus and offered help beyond my Bodhgaya travels. I highly suggest staying here when you visit Bodhgaya!

Je conseille la climatisation car je ne l’ai pas prise et j’ai un peu trop chaud

Le rapport qualité prix du logement est impeccable. Bien situé dans Bodhgaya, tout est accessible facilement à pied. Le personnel est très accueillant, même lorsqu'il s'agit d'un check in tardif à cause d'un train en retard. De bons conseils aussi pour les visites. Je recommande 😀
