Location

Booked a double room for me and my partner, checked in and paid then to be told we were getting split up into 2 separate single rooms. If I’d been told this beforehand, I wouldn’t have paid over £100 for the room. Obviously we weren’t going to different rooms so end up having to share a single bed between us. Bed was awfully uncomfortable, room was freezing as bathroom window didn’t even shut. Rubbish still left in the drawers of the table. Even on checking in I was asked to sign a form which we couldn’t even do and they couldn’t find a pen. Very dissapointing which did slightly ruin the great day we’d had at a concert

Privacy

I suggest you put EXIT Signs together with arrows, and/or 1s, 2nd, 3rd floor signs Or Rooms 100- 120 for 1st floor rooms. 200-2020 for 2nd floor rooms, 300-320 for 3rd floor rooms. This serves people from getting lost. Especially in the event of a fire or any other form of emergency. I got lost several times trying to get access to my room first time after checking in. I was given verbal instructions. I went out to buy some food and I could not configure the directions yo get back to my room.

"Amazing city amazing hotel"

How friendly the staff were and friendly, the ideal location in the city centre and how conveniently placed it was to the train station. I didn’t know his name but middle grey head man with glasses booked us in with ease and was a great help with any directions.

Maybe a little dated but it wasn’t a dampener on the amazing trip to Liverpool we had.
