L'hôtel Mango Beach House est bien plus qu'un hôtel. Beth, son mari et leurs fantastiques personnels sont aux petits soins pour vous. D'une propreté rarement vue, toujours une petite attention dans la préparation de la chambre. Literie extra. Vous cherchez un hôtel avec une vue incroyable ? Un endroit calme? Chaleureux ? Peu de chambres donc idéal. Près de Page, de super resto à proximité et hyper sécurisé avec des habitants très polis et respectueux. Un énorme merci à toute l'équipe. Si nous revenons sur l'île, nous reviendrons au Mango Beach House sans hésiter

The location of the place, on the waterfront and the guy at the bar was nice and friendly

Unfortunately the rooms don't have AC or fridge because the owner says they are eco friendly. The windows don't have glass, they are just the frame with a net which in our case the net was full of holes that we had to fill with toilet paper to avoid mosquitoes getting in . But you don't prevent the other animals because the "windows" don't close properly.With no glass, it was crazy... We had the local people shouting till 19:30 and when the tide came , the waves sounded so fresh, I thought I was on a raft in the ocean.... We didn't relax at all. The floor of the room and the bathroom was just concrete, no varnish on top so it was filthy. And the door was a homemade, not- sturdy storage house door with a lock on it. No bathroom door to have some privacy so if you did the number 2 , the whole room smelled. And lastly slow Internet. We paid 85€ a night and with the same or lesser amount, you go a bit down on the beach and you get resorts or villas

Lokacija apartmaja je super,saj je hotel zraven morja.

V tem delu otoka vedno piha, ce vetra ne maras, ne smes v ta predel. Ob objektu se zbirajo domacini, kateri so izredno glasni in moteci.zbirati se pricnejo ze zjutraj okoli 6.00 ter cez celi dan. Slabost je tudi,da apartma nima oken s šipami, kar pomeni,da v apartmaju nimas zasebnosti. Motece je tudi, da je v apartmaju izredno svetlo,saj si ne mores napraviti teme. V apartmaju ni hladilnika, kar se mi zdi slabo. Klima v najinem apartmaju ni bila potrebna, tudi ce bi bila.

De locatie is prachtig. Het hotel is kleinschalig wat het heel gezellig maakt. En de eigenaren zijn súper vriendelijk!

Our week-long stay at this beautiful hotel in Zanzibar was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly set the tone for an amazing stay. The room itself was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with an open-concept layout that made it feel airy, relaxing and the view was spectacular. We could litterally fall asleep by the sound of the waves and wake up with a stunning sunrise. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and always served with a smile. The happy hour was definitely a plus! What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was the people. The hosts, Beth & Dullah, were absolutely wonderful— always open to our suggestions, always attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, constantly treating us with care and kindness. By the end of the week, leaving felt less like checking out of a hotel and more like saying goodbye to friends. We’re deeply grateful for such a heartfelt experience and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich wunderschön. Der Ausblick – sowohl vom Zimmer als auch vom Pool – ist außergewöhnlich und gehört definitiv zu den Highlights. Auch das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, und wir haben uns in dieser Hinsicht gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber, jedoch von der Ausstattung her recht einfach. Es gab wenig Stauraum und kaum Möglichkeiten, Kleidung ordentlich abzulegen oder aufzuhängen. Für ein paar Tage ist es in Ordnung, aber für einen etwas längeren Aufenthalt wäre etwas mehr Ausstattung praktisch. Wichtig zu erwähnen für zukünftige Gäste ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Ich habe zunächst als allein reisende Person gebucht und vor Ort angefragt, ob mein Partner mit ins Zimmer kommen kann. Das war möglich, allerdings wurden dafür 40 € pro Nacht zusätzlich berechnet – insgesamt 200 € für fünf Nächte, inklusive Frühstück und zwei Zimmerreinigungen. Diese Kosten wurden vorab nicht ersichtlich kommuniziert und haben mich im Vergleich zu anderen 3-Sterne-Hotels überrascht. Ich bin danach in ein anderes Hotel mit ähnlicher Sterne-Kategorie weitergereist, in dem keine zusätzlichen Gebühren für eine zweite Person, Bettwäsche oder Frühstück berechnet wurden. Aus diesem Grund empfinde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier als etwas zu hoch. Insgesamt ein schöner Ort mit toller Aussicht und freundlichem Personal, jedoch mit einem für meine Erfahrung etwas erhöhten Preisniveau.

The hotel and the location were exactly what we had dreamed of. This was our first trip to Zanzibar and we wanted to stay in a small and personal boutique hotel on a beautiful beach and that was exactly what we got. The atmosphere was relaxed and personal. We felt so pampered. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated. We stayed in a family suite with 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. There was also a living room and a fantastic terrace with a view of the Indian Ocean. We woke up to the sound of waves and the sun rising over the sea. The restaurant was open all day and we were well taken care of with breakfast, lunch and dinner when we wanted. From the bar we were looked after at the sun loungers with fresh mango juice, fresh fruit and good drinks. Jambiani beach is a real paradise beach with several smaller hotels and nice restaurants. It is a quiet and friendly atmosphere with a mix of tourists and locals. Beth helped book a fantastic sailing and guided tour to a spice farm and Stone Town which was both entertaining and interesting.
