Foxgloves and Ivy

The caravan was beautiful, in a lovely location, marvellously equipped with so many home from home (or better) things for a brilliant stay, super comfortable beds and a great shower, to name just a couple of things of vital importance. Philippa met us and made us and our two dogs so welcome, bringing us fresh flowers and cake! We were given a Welcome Card with a phone number to call for any problems, nothing was too much trouble, although nothing was a problem! The Lake District is an awesome place, with so much splendour everywhere you look, our week was as pleasant as can be. We would recommend Foxgloves and Ivy to anyone who wants a superb break away, Many thanks Philippa.

We had a lovely stay this weekend, a beautiful place and so peaceful, close to many amenities. The caravan was very clean and spacious and so comfortable. Phillipa was a lovely host who even made us a delicious ginger cake for our arrival, we will definitely be back.

Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the most gracious and hospitable landlady (Philippa). She went above and beyond to ensure that our family, including our young children, felt completely at home. The apartment was immaculate and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the lodge both cozy and practical. The environment was incredibly child-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. What truly set this experience apart was Phillippa’s warmth and attentiveness. She provided us with detailed information and personalized guides about the Lake District, making our exploration of the area easy and enjoyable. Her insights made a huge difference in our trip, helping us discover hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. This lodge exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
