"Welcoming host in a stunning cottage in a beautiful setting."

The breakfast was amazing! Everything we love was freely available: nuts, seeds, cereals, toast, impressive choice of teas and coffees. Nico provided our own choice of milks beforehand which was an added lovely touch. We could choose our time for breakfast. On the day of our arrival, Nico shared some delicious Brownies which she had just made. She kindly gave us the recipe. The cottage was beautifully refurbished in a gorgeous location with delightful, mature gardens overlooking countryside. Off-road parking for one car. I wish it were my home!

There was no ensuite but it wasn't a problem.

The location was lovely, set in a nice Essex village close to some pretty walks and good public houses. The host was very friendly and willing to help if required.

There wasn't a private bathroom as described, This facility was shared with the host. The hot cross buns were a little stale for breakfast (one day out of date)
