Falls Cottage

Een zeer warm & vriendelijk welkom van de beide hosts, er stond zelfs eigen gemaakt brood & jam klaar. Cottage is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien, boven onze verwachting! Goede ligging, zeer rustige omgeving.

Koos and Carolyn were great. The cottage was very cosy with a Christmas tree and decorations. There was home made bread, jam, mince pies and sweeties for us when we arrived. We could have watched the wildlife in the garden for hours. And 8 inches of snow made the new year getaway perfect.

Amazing and super helpful hosts

Hosts Koos & Carolyn were there to meet us on arrival. A very warm welcome from both. Gave us a quick tour of cottage and how to use log fire. Stunning cottage with stunning surroundings. Facilities within cottage are excellent, with a range cooker and dishwasher doing most of the work and allowing us to relax. Comfy beds and a very cosy feel all round. 10/10.

Man wurde gleich herzlich begrüßt und man fühlte sich gleich so richtig wohl. Die Gastgeber Koos und Carolyn waren einfach super gewesen. Das Cottage liegt edyllisch in der Natur was es besonders macht. Die Einrichtung hat nichts offen gelassen und es war einfach gemütlich. Die Anfahrt wurde durch Koos's Tip nochmal sehr schön. Wir kommen wieder.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Das Cottage hat eine sehr schöne ruhige Lage. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Eine historische Brücke sind nur 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Cottahe an sich ist sehr schön und hervorragend ausgestattet, die Betten sind sehr bequem und alles ist modern ausgestattet. Es war soagr eine Gitarre da. Der Log Burner sorgt für eine gemütliche Zeit. Dss Cottage ist aber auch per Heizung beheizbar. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben gute Hinweise, was man in der Umgebung erkunden kann. Hund Bobbie hat uns auch nett begrüßt :-) Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten für unseren Aufenthalt und würden stets wiederkommen. Empfehlung! PS: Die Deko mit Kürbisen passend zur Jahreszeit hat uns sehr gefallen und auch die Möbel aus Whiskyfässern waren großartig :-) [English Version] The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location. It's a perfect starting point for hikes. A historic bridge is just a 2-minute walk away. The cottage itself is very nice and superbly furnished; the beds are very comfortable, and everything is modern. There was even a guitar. The log burner ensures a cozy stay. The cottage can also be heated. The owners are very friendly and helpful and provide good tips on what to explore in the surrounding area. Bobbie the dog also gave us a warm welcome :-) We had everything we needed for our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! PS: We really liked the seasonal pumpkin decorations, and the whiskey barrel furniture was also great :-)
