Falls Cottage

The magnificent location and calm setting make this cottage a beautiful and peaceful retreat. It's very well equipped, and we were even greeted with home-made bread and jam. Can't recommend it enough.

Idyllic and peaceful next to the river. Early morning visit by deer grazing in the wooded area behind the cottage. Plenty of scenic drives and walks through beautiful villages and countryside.

1- The Hosts. 2- Their Dog Bobbie. 3- Phesents and wild life around the cottage. 4- Welcome hamper, lovely loaf and home made berry jam - yummy! 5- Close proximity to breath taking views and walks. 6- The wee bridge and water rushing over the rocks across the road. 7- Cottage is very clean, comfy and lots of logs for the fire. 8- The tranquility of sitting out the back in the gazebo with a wine as it gets dark.

Everything! A really lovely cottage in a beautiful area - it was perfect for us. Loved the cosy, comfortable sitting room with log burner, appreciated the welcome basket, loved watching the many visiting birds enjoying the feeders, great walking nearby.

We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, which included a welcome pack with warm homemade bread and jam. The cottage is beautiful and the most well equipped cottage we have stayed in, the attention to detail was very impressive. The location is stunning and well placed to visit everything in the area. We had a wonderful time!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Falls Cottage in AB17, Scotland! The cottage is absolutely stunning—immaculately clean and finished to an exceptionally high standard throughout. The spacious, beautifully kept garden adds to the serene and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the charming wood-burning stove, which made our evenings especially cozy. The shower was incredibly comfortable, and the log fire was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need, all in pristine condition and ready to use. Koos, the host, was exceptionally warm and accommodating, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Whether you’re visiting as a family or as two couples, Falls Cottage offers ample space and comfort for everyone to enjoy. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay and would wholeheartedly recommend Falls Cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Scotland.
