Ozi and his family go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. From waterfall trekking to the most delicious home-cooked meals, you’re in the best hands here. Goa Walet Cottage is located a little outside of Tetebatu but this makes it quieter and feel more remote. Plus the scooter drive to Tetebatu from here is one of the most beautiful I’ve done during my travels. It really is a stunning location surrounded by jungle and the locals are all so friendly. I didn’t hear the mosque during the night, all I did hear was the sounds of flowing water and occasional birds singing. The hut itself is cosy and there’s even a ‘boyfriend pillow’ to cuddle if you’re solo travelling like me!

I liked everything about this place and I would come back in a heartbeat. The homestay has only been open for a few months so it’s important to understand that as of May 2024 there is no hot water shower and the wifi drops out sometimes, but Ozi knows about these things and is doing all he can to introduce them in the future! Neither bothered me too much because I was in such a gorgeous, remote location and Ozi’s family provided me with a flask of hot water to wash my face with morning and night ❤️ Book this place! You won’t regret it.

Ozi's family home is an oasis in the middle of nature with a private waterfall 10min by foot. All the family are spectacular hosts and will make sure you feel home. You will get delicious home-made meals and the possibility to go with Ozi for a trek and discover 4 amazing waterfalls. Totally worth it if you want to experience some quietness and local vibe.

If i should recommend something would be to have something in the room to hung clothes, but this is really minor :-) i wish them all the best in their home-stay project

It was such an incredible place to stay, probably our top pick out of the 20 accommodations we've stayed at during our 3-month trip. Ozi was an amazing host who took us on a fantastic trekking tour to 4 waterfalls. The property had a magical garden with a private waterfall just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed the most delicious homecooked Lombok food prepared by Ozi's wife - the best meals we've had in Indonesia. We also got to taste a variety of fresh fruits from the garden. We even spotted monkeys right outside the property. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a secluded and peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Ozzi is very helpful and attentive to guests wants and needs, and his wife cook amazing traditional indonesian meals.

The Wi-Fi is not always stable, but you’ll have pleanty of other things to do here!

From the moment I arrived I was treated so well. Ozi is lovely and really interested in talking and learning. He's also an experienced guide. The bungalow I had was brand new and spotless. There's a spring-fed pool and genuinely untouched jungle views that will leave you mesmerised. The food was delicious and plentiful. And, there's an awesome subterranean waterfall!

nothing. this was as close to perfect for us as could be found.

We were the first guests ever in this place, and we hope many more will come because it's simply amazing. The location is a walking distance from all the famous waterfalls in the area, and right in front of the accomodation there is a secret private waterfall only for guests! The room is clean, very comfortable bed and a beautiful view with a clean, relaxing pool in front of the room. The owner 'Ozzy' is a super friendly guy, who also guides hikes to the waterfalls. He took us on a 3 hour trek that started from the accomodation, and passed by 4 beautiful waterfalls. Ozzy and his family are the perfect hosts, they made local dishes for us and Ozzy shared so much knowledge with us about the region. He also let us taste multiple local fruits that we had never tried before. We originally planned to just stay here one day to visit the waterfalls, but the hospitality Ozzy and his family showed us, made us stay longer. The AC in the room was not very cold, but at night the temperatures go down so it didn't really bother us.
