Surf Shack Grupuk

The location is super nice. You can see the sunrise every morning from your bed. You live directly in front of the beach. You can catch a boat to surf the spots in the bay from the beach in front of the room. The scooter rental service was exceptionally good!

Gerupuk is small and far away from everything. If you like surfing, it‘s perfect! Otherwise it could be boring after a few days.

The location is absolutely incredible. Fantastic view from the terrace with the sea so close. The host is fantastic, sorting us out with surf lessons and taxis. We had a brilliant stay!! Gerepuk is a very relaxed place with some good places for food

Being on the water and The view of the sea outside ur window. All the small things to make u comfortable are there and they work. The owner really went out of her way to help with a unexpected transportation problem, although obviously not her responsibility. Thanks again Laura.

We had a weird blue hamak while all the other ones were clean and white. Quite disappointing when on the picture it says we would have had the clean one. Also we barely found someone who worked there. Cleaning service is until 11am which we didn’t know. So basically if you oversleep in the morning you don’t get your room cleaned. There was a weird noise every night outside the room which sometimes made it impossible to fall asleep or would wake me up. The water in the shower is salty. I’ve never seen this before? Also one day we run out of electricity and water which is defo not the property fault. But I would have appreciated some assistance or being aware of this while we realised it on our own and never knew when it would come back. The property was so far from the center, we once tried to order Grab for food and the food never came lmao.

Grupuk is awesome and this is a short walk from town which is great. Staff are awesome. Room is super nice and comfortable.

Lots of dogs live on the beach in-front and can be loud at night. I was there at a super windy time and was hard to spend time outside and doors slammed a lot and the hammock broke in the wind. Aircon doesn’t cool room very well.

I loved staying at Surf Shack, it's right on the water and very cosy and comfortable. Murni greeted me and organised my laundry and a surf lesson the following day with Muslihin. They are both such lovely people and the surf lesson with Muslihin was amazing, excellent instructor and a very nice person. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I ran out of kopi, so mungkin satu coffee sachet per night you stay.

Clean, spacious and comfortable room with a great outside area. Great location if you are interested in surfing.

It had everything I needed and with nice decoration and clean. I can say that it has been the best place I have stayed in Indonesia, and I have traveled a lot. Sometimes less is more, and these units are spacious but the person that made them thought about every little detail.
