The Glossop Suite

Convenient parking and good facilities that has great potential plus very helpful host, but the drains smell in the bedroom facility is awful.

The apartment itself was clean on the inside, if a little tired in places, but there is some kind of plumbing / sewerage / drains problem so the bathroom stinks like an open sewer (and the extractor fan doesn't work) which means I had to leave windows open elsewhere in the apartment to try and clear the smell (it did not work). The bathroom facilities are located in the bedroom, and the door is right next to the bed, so the smell kept waking me up. It was such a shame and spoiled an otherwise lovely apartment (on the inside). The outside is covered in graffiti which is gave a slightly ghetto vibe that was not ideal (see picture).

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Straight forward access. Parking.

Bathroom smelt a little musty due to lack of ventilation. The extractor fan wasn’t working. But this was just a minor issue.

So much space, very comfortable all round from the bed to the sofa. Really big toilet and shower room. 5 minutes walk from west street bars, hospital and tram stops.

The lock box for the key was a little fiddly to get into and relocked but was easy to use

The outside parking

The bed bugs! The black mould! The mould in the shower. The red spots/stains on carpet & furniture. The dirt/stains on the carpet. The fact it wasn’t clean! The stains from the previous guests!

Perfect for our overnight stay, everything provided that you could think of.
