The property was a good location and ideal for why we were in Sheffield, the bedroom had a inner layer extra window to block out outside noise, so was quiet on a night in the bedroom as the place was on the corner of the building and had a busy road to the front and side of the property. Heating was really good and heated up quick. Everything worked, although prior to our stay people did say things didn't work, however on arrival I noticed the heating wouldn't come on and there was no hot water and then the TV didn't work, for some odd reason someone had turned the main fuse off for these things, which meant all kitchen appliances, the central heating and hot water, and tv sockets didn't work, even the alarm system was off, once I flicked the fuse back up all worked fine, thankfully. Just for reference incase it happens to you, the fuse box is located as you come through your front door on the left hand side. Secure car park at the rear was really handy and it had pin code entry. Sofa was comfy, tv was good.

Could have been a bit cleaner as we cleaned when we arrived, bedside tables were dusty, carpet needs a good clean as had quite a few mark's on it throughout and what appeared to be blood dots too. Was quite noisy in living room area as only had single pain sash windows without extra inner window like bedroom has, so you could hear anything said from people walking past, the second inner front doors lock doesn't work, would have been nice to have the added security of that working with the main door after it, opening straight on to the street. Had to walk from the rear car park down the side street and side of building to the door at the front of the building with all our luggage which is never ideal, and didn't know prior to receiving key code entry instructions on the day.

Dreadful stay, loud music playing all night, - no sleep no hot water for shower this morning & no tea / coffee making facilities Bed was comfortable bit otherwise Totally disappointed & would never book again

Lovely customer service, contacted on the morning to inform that the Glossop suite was being decorated and had upgraded us to another suite. Great instructions on how to get in. Lovely decor throughout. Good facilities.

Great location. Walking distance for our events in centre of town and Weston park. Ample private parking behind security gate. Entry instructions clear when they arrived. Spacious. All on ground floor- good for anyone who struggles with steps. Our linen and towels were clean and fresh unlike previous review. Not immaculate but thoroughly hoovered out and surfaces clean. No issues with noise from uni union referred to in previous comment (not term time?).

Early reviews of 8-10 (with no detailed commentary) are misleading in my opinion. The recent reviews are a truer reflection. Fridge, kettle and toaster did not work. Not adequate for a 4 night stay. In response to complaints, Management moved us to a much nicer apartment upstairs for 3 nights. Slight mould on bathroom ceiling likely because extraction fan does not work. Rest of kitchen was ok, functional with basic utensils. Plaster flaking on ceiling, walls marked/scuffed and mirrors/painting leaning against walls, not affixed to them. Had to ask 3 times for entry instructions prior to arrival. didn’t get them until morning leaving for check in. Stressful not knowing whether we would get in or not. Phone number provided by booking.com did not work. However replies to messages were pleasant and helpful. If we had stayed here for 4 nights would have given it a 3/4. Fix the issues above and you have a 7 rating in my view. This company has nicer properties to stay in and I’d recommend you look there.
