Very noisy hi-way traffic 1/2 block away and construction noise

The place was very nice and clean.

It was a bit difficult to know when we would get cleaning service. We were told every two days, however we had to ask for it to be cleaned.

Really nice property and great location. Close to the beach, shops snd restaurants.

The daily cleaning could improve.

When you arrive, you are greeted by a very warm and welcoming staff. The main reception area is open to a beautifully designed lobby and pool area that includes a tv area as well as tables and chairs etc. Perfect for meeting people or just hanging out. We stayed in an ocean view room and the view is awesome from a large, well furnished balcony. Very bright, with floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings making the unit feel very spacious. The location is good, steps from the beach and about a ten minute walk into Centro. There's a few restaurants nearby and an oxxo a couple of doors down.

We actually only experienced a couple of negatives with this place. The main problem was the strong sewer smell from the bathroom. They do their best to clean drains, but the problem is with the plumbing. I hope that they can find a solution for this, as it does get quite bad. And it has a strange way of venting...into the hallway. So you can hear noise from the hall in the bathroom and bedroom. There's very little traffic noise on the ocean view side, but probably a bit on the mountain view... although the view is very pretty. Although there is no construction adjacent to the building, there is a lot in the neighborhood. It was not a problem for us. I really hope that they don't replace the old neighborhood with condos and highrise buildings.
