"A wonderful stay in a beautiful location"

All the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, breakfast and dinner both were very good indeed. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again

"You'll struggle to find a better lakeside hotel in the Lake District... great stay!"

The location was stunning. The bathroom in our room was really modern, and the Bistro was a lovely contemporary touch for dinner. All of the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was plentiful.....

The building was looking a little tired, and the constant emails asking for dinner bookings got a little tiresome and came across as desperate. But apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
