Food only available in Bistro mid week small location to eat dinner Average & Expensive Bistro meals with unexciting menu No vegetables with main course Bistro lets down other fine features of hotel .we would have expected fine dining.Breakfast excellent in nice room overlooking the lake -staff friendly and obliging Chef appears to play small role needs a Michelin starred chef Within 2 weeks of our visit offer over internet for £150 less than we paid! Just a bit galling COULD BE BETTER IN SERVING more stylish FOOD AT DINNER not a bistro

I liked everything, from the beautiful room, staff, food and particularly the breakfast which is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

Set in a beautiful location. Large, comfortable bedroom with great views overlooking the lake. Breakfast and the evening meals in the Bistro were wonderful and couldn’t have asked for more friendly & helpful staff throughout our stay. Two lovely large drawing rooms to sit for a coffee or to have a drink in after dinner at night. Overall a fantastic 3 night stay and would definitely recommend.
