Noise form the indian takeaway

Handy location for us as we were going to a nearby wedding. Clean, quirky property. Comfy beds, and well equipped.

Parking is very tight - we’re fine with the narrow lane but actually getting in and out of the gate was pretty stressful (definitely don’t recommend taking an estate car like ours down there!) a clothes airer/washing line would be very useful too.

Great location for our visit, we were in the area for a university open day. The local shops and fish and chips were brilliant

It was hard to find the entrance to the property and very tight for access in the car. There was a little bit of noise from the indian restaurant kitchen that backed onto the property

Beautiful quirky little cottage tastefully laid out and decorated. Gorgeous galley kitchen, private parking.

Doesn't get much sunlight, neighbours can be a little noisy and outdated, uncomfortable 3 piece suite.

The overall theatre of the place and homely feel

Noise from takeaway kitchen was slightly annoying but streets are very tight knit, so this is inevitable, they should though be asked to keep noise down especially at 10pm.

House was perfect for a family stay , clean facilities, and all the amenities needed. Close to pub , takeaways, and pasty shops! Great value and overall a good 2 night stay. Bathroom shower was glorious! Heating was a welcome warmth after the rainy april days!

The 2 takeaways that back on to the property were quite noisey at bedtime. Early mornings had lots of banging from bins , parking was very tight we had 2 x 4x4's and it was cm's away from walls getting into property had to move commercial big bins to be able to exit. Conservatory was very noisey with rain and the windows rattled in the wind.
