Basil Leaf Resort

The property was neat and clean, well maintained. Staff was responsive and helpful and the owner too is present most of the times and very helpful person.

There is no major negative, just one suggestion - small refrigerators in the rooms would be add on to keep cold beverages, wine that we usually carry to resorts

Nice experience

I stayed at this property in first week of June 2024. It is a new property. The location is walking distance from the beach. The property is very clean and well maintained. There is wifi is every room and works wonderfully well. But you will need OTT subscriptions to watch anything interesting. Otherwise you are stuck with free stuff from internet. The reception and serving staff is untrained, but helpful. The positives end here though.

There is not enough parking space. The pool is so tiny it might as well be a personal pool. It is hardly usable for 3 adults at a time and kids pool is sufficient for 2 at a time. The worst experience is with the restaurant. The staff is entirely untrained. The refrigerator was probably not working. The water bottles, cold drinks were warn when served at 40 degrees outside. Breakfast is served on the lawn as the restaurant is a small space. In the summer time, this is torturous even 8 AM. Restaurant food is mediocre at best. The room was ok in size. The bathrooms did not have hot water for a long time. Toilet seat cover was broken.
