Un peu cher quand même… et heureusement que les avions s’arrêtent la nuit entre 22h et 6h.

Close to the airport-ask to use the back gate out of the property to access the Via Appia. Then, a mere 25 mins walk to the airport. A great host-very helpful and friendly.

Hard to find initially.

Ciampino reptérhez közeli szállás a Via Appia Antica mellett. A tulajdonos, Stefano nagyon kedves és segítőkész, igazi vendégszerető ember, sokat mesélt a környékről és a látnivalókról. A reptér közelsége miatt jöttünk és csak egy éjszakát maradtunk - erre tökéletes a szállás.

Ha hosszabb időt töltenénk itt, akkor egy jó lenne egy konyha az apartmanhoz, de nekünk erre nem volt szükségünk.

We were greeted by the owner, who provided us with all the information we needed. The accommodation is located right next to Via Appia. We were very interested in this historic road. We are very grateful to the owner of the accommodation, who kindly gave us a wonderful tour (about 2 hours) along the Via Appia. He also showed us the ancient mausoleums along the road. The rooms in the apartments are spacious and clean. The surroundings are very peaceful. There is a quiet courtyard next to the apartments. It was very nice and pleasant to see the peaceful surroundings and kittens playing. The accommodation is located near Ciampino Airport. It is about a 5-minute taxi ride away.

The host was brilliant. Using a Google translator to welcome us, inform us of everything and ask if we needed a taxi. It is close to the airport but really you need a taxi as there is nowhere to walk safely. The room is basic but you have everything you need to stay the night and wash yourself before your flight.
