Utama Villas Beach Front Candidasa

Beautiful location. Friendly staff.

First room we had booked was not acceptable it had black mould on the walls and a overwhelming smell of dampness. We moved rooms as we could not stay in there. We had to pay extra to move rooms.

Our room with the ocean view was wonderful. The beach was perfect for a swim and the pool was at our doorstep. Lovely and quiet also.

The pathway to the rooms was very slippery after the rain.

Food is amazing. The chef needs a pay rise for his kitchen skills. Best seafood I've ever had. So fresh, well cooked and delicious. Try the 250 grams red snapper and grilled prawns. Pineapple juice is fantastic. But the food wasn't as good in the morning and at lunch when the chef wasn't there. When he is cooking it's way better! Hats off to you chef! Great job! Owner was so kind to rent us her motorbike for a good price. We really enjoyed our stay, very nice people and very relaxing.

Since it's next to the beach, it's understandable that there is sand, but the room just felt sandy. Towels could be cleaner.

We loved the kindness of the staff. Mini and the rest of the crew was adorable. They took care of us even in rough weather conditions

Beautiful beach out the front. There's a little warung just down the road that was incredible. Good location with convenience store and restaurants nearby. Out of Candi Dasa

Room was a bit tired

I highly recommend this hotel. The cottages are located practically right on the beach with a calm ocean. Compared to other parts of the island, the waves here are relatively small, and the water is clean and warm. Additionally, there is a pool with a view of the ocean available for use. The conditions in the cottages are decent, everything is clean, and there is nothing to complain about. The food in the restaurant is excellent, fresh, and of high quality. However, what touched us the most were the people—the entire staff is incredibly friendly. They were very eager to talk with us, sharing stories about the island, local customs, and everyday life. My husband and I have traveled to many places around the world, but we have never formed such a warm and close relationship with the staff as we did at Utama Villas. We will remember our stay for the rest of our lives! We extend our heartfelt thanks and wish the hotel continued success and constant occupancy.

Location was excellent, quiet, direct beach access, ocean front rooms are very nice, staff are lovely

‘Deluxe’ rooms need update, bathrooms/toilets need major update, water pumps noisy, water pressure poor

Great location, quiet. Pool overlooks the beach. Pool lounges. Direct beach access. Comfortable bed and nice linen, good shower. Outdoor verandah which caught the afternoon breeze. Restaurant at the front was great. Coffee shop next door was lovely.

No fridge in our room. Towels not changed frequently ( only stayed 3 nights)
