GBLevel of finish wás top notch. Kitchette was fully fitted, microwave and coffee machine, even coffee pods, sugar and fresh milk in the 'fridge.

CAThe host was warm, respectful, and very easy to communicate with. The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location with a beautiful view of the river. I felt safe, welcome, and well looked after throughout my stay. The check-in was smooth and everything was exactly as described. It was a peaceful and pleasant place to stay.

GBRiverside by Teil is a bargain, a hidden gem. In a lovely setting beside the River Ribble, the property is very close to Preston town centre - the train station is a 10-minute walk, tops - and also convenient if you are visiting friends or family in South Ribble (Penwortham, Longton et al), as I was, with Penwortham being just over the bridge. The rooms are very clean, and there is a lovely shared kitchen area on the ground floor with tea, coffee, milk and cereal provided. Additionally, the staff are really helpful. I arrived back very late and struggled with the key box - my fault, not the key box's, it's actually very simple - and the property owner rang me and talked me through getting in with good humour and kindness.
There's really nothing I didn't like. It's a budget option so of course not a pool/spa-type hotel, but for a really good night's sleep in a lovely location for a great price, I couldn't fault it.
GBGBFantastic location - easy walking distance from (East) The Continental pub & beer garden / Avenham Park, (West) the Docklands with its cinema, eating etc, (North) Fishergate and the town centre, (South) Penwortham. Right by the river - on a hot evening I liked to take a cup of tea out, lean on the parapet and watch the tide go out! Room was clean and well appointed (double bed on top floor, facing the river). Waseem goes out of his way to help you, and texted me regularly throughout my 8-night stay to check everything was good.
No washing machine or dryer - I'd travelled light assuming there would be one. No problem as there is a good launderette at the South end of Fishergate that does a full service but I would suggest maybe specifying on the site that there is no washer/dryer? No 2 pin socket in the bathroom for shavers/electric toothbrush etc but Waseem has a plug adapter which guests may borrow. Toilet was cramped as other guests have noted, but I'm 6' and heavily built, and found it fine to use.
GBThe outside and the enviroment is not reflective of the pictures. There was nothing that reflected the name besides the number.
The outside was not well presented . It is a BnB and not as advertised
