San Agustin Plaza

Room was fairly spacious. Beds were comfortable. Our laundry service worked well and on time.

Gillette razor with hair on it (from the previous guest) left in the bathroom. Requested a room change. Our new room had three hairs in the shower and a filthy amenities tray, and the power cut out twice for several minutes during the evening. Reception didn't offer anything at all when we told them this, and no one even helped us with our bags at any point. In addition, most of the breakfast food was evidently stale.

I liked everything. Simple and perfect! Beautiful, comfortable.

The staff are not really friendly.

Unfriendly staff (reception / bar / breakdast) - room was small and dark

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to this last night after our Machu Picchu visit. We checked in at 10pm after returning from our train ride. We liked that the hotel allows you to store your bags with them for free while visiting M.P. The rooms are comfortable with nice beds and nice size bathrooms with a bathtub. The rooms have a safe and decent storage space as well. The breakfast has a nice variety of food with strong coffee. The staff is accommodating and helpful. We appreciated Ruth, Lyn & Milagos for the customer service.

When we arrived, we specifically asked not to be near an elevator as the guests leaving are loud. We returned to the front desk 2x as our rooms were right next to the elevators. We finally did get a room farther away from the elevators. We appreciated the effort that Ruth put in to help us.

We liked that the hotel is not far from the main plaza but far enough away from most of the noise. We also liked the room and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good with many warm and cold options. They also have free coca tea available and an oxygen tank to use for the elevation issues.

The doors slam too easily and the walls are somewhat thin so you do hear other quests but if you need to sleep some earplugs do help. I read many reviews with this same issue at other hotels. Overall, this hotel is nice.
