Heins Manor House

The rooms were spacious and inviting. It’s historic, impressive and beautifully preserved.

It was hard to find in appalling weather. Hard to warm up with its amazingly high ceilings.

Served a huge breakfast that we could not eat. If the simply asked us way we wanted we would have ordered way less food.

Very welcoming and accommodating, we really loved using the braai and their wine was beautiful!

Beautiful property set in stunning surroundings. The old Dutch buildings are full of character, with lovely wooden floors and high ceilings. The bathroom was also beautifully done. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and enjoyable.

Breakfast was disappointing with no choice or flexibility. There were no options like fruit, cereal or yoghurt, and a plated breakfast was brought without asking for preferences. Eggs were served sunny side up both mornings, which we don’t eat, and we had to send it back, next morning it was the same story.

Nice, family-run guest room outside of Stellenbosch. We really like the big bathroom, the big garden, and the delicious home-cooked breakfast. If you want to stay outside of Stellenbosch, we can recommend this place.

As the guest room is part of a farm it can get a bit noisy in the morning.

Very friendly staff in a building with such character. There may be some more scenic spots but the building character really makes it worth it. Also great homemade breakfast. Perfect pit stop between wine farms.
