La Casa Veintidós

Review for Casa Vendidos Casa Vendidos is a charming colonial gem situated perfectly in the heart of the city, with most historical sites just steps away. Our stay in the suite was comfortable and well-suited for our group of three adults, thanks to the spacious layout featuring a king bed and two sofa beds. We particularly enjoyed the shared kitchen, which offered a convenient spot for coffee and tea, and the rooftop terrace, where a small table and chairs provided stunning views of the city skyline. However, it’s important to note that the suite may not be ideal for those with mobility issues, as accessing it requires navigating about 30 stairs to the main floor and another 20 up a spiral staircase. For elderly guests or those with physical limitations, this could pose a challenge. We found it best to plan our trips up and down to conserve energy. The hospitality at Casa Vendidos was exceptional. Celia, the host, was prompt and accommodating, while Conchita, the housekeeper, was a joy to chat with, sharing valuable insights about must-see attractions in the area. Overall, Casa Vendidos is a wonderful choice for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the charm of this beautiful colonial city, as long as stairs aren’t a concern.

The attention was amazing and super well located :o)

Less noise. There was a kid screaming (for ten minutes) to her mom at 8:00 and as we were on vacation was no nice to be waked up early. But was all, honestly we has a happy stay.

No TV,No air-conditioning

We stayed for 4 nights. We arrived to the city by 6am and because our room was available, we were able to check in early which was a great first impression. No reception—just a key code which made the process faster and easier. When someone arose, they were quick to answer questions and offer assistance. The room was so nice and spacious. We opened all 8 windows for a nice cross breeze. The bed was a California king, comfortable, and a variety of thickness blankets to pair with the weather. The balcony out back was small but offered a great view. Outside the front door was the rooftop patio which offered more amazing views of the city. The location was unmatched. It’s right on the Main Street of downtown and a 3 minute walk to the center square.

Nothing. It was PERFECT! It also came in with a fridge and a little kitchenette if you need to make any meals in the room :)

The location is the best, walking distance to all the places you would want to see.

It was a Friday night that we stayed there and we could hear music and noises from the street all night.
