La Casa Veintidós

Shower was broken. To get to the upper floor you have to go to tiny stairs. No AC or Heat. Lots of light come in since curtains are not dark enough.

Everything was perfect, location, price and attention.

Excellent location and spacious space in room #3 .Turn right, two minute walk to Teatro Juarez. Another short walk to the university and Basilica. Turn left the Templo de San Fransisco is two minute walk. There is a night market with many taco stands which open in the afternoon .

My room is facing the street and the loud noise from nearby bar won’t stop until almost 3 in the morning. But the lady of the hotel offered us ear plugs , that helped a lot so we can have a good night sleep. Most of the hotels in old town doesn’t have elevator and neither does this one. It’s located on third floor so pack light .

wonderful, spacious, clean, charming, well-appointed room, walking distance to everything, really nice hosts (Celia y Concha).

Sadly, this street side room is just too noisy…. The clubs down the street pound out music until 2:30 in the morning. Somewhat quieter on Monday but otherwise Sundays, Tuesdays…. If you close the window shutters to seal out the noise, the room gets stuffy with no ventilation…
