communal kitchen was never clean. Rooms were too small so you had to use the communal fridge and freezer. Our beverages were stolen on the last evening of our stay.

My car was broken into and items were taken, however, items were recovered . Safety is an issue as it was easy for perpetrators to enter the establishment. No apologies were given by the establishment as a whole.
USBeautiful property in the bush, a wonderful feeling of peace and quiet nature. Awesome facilities for braai, pool, and trampoline was a huge hit with the kids. The rooms were comfortable. Staff accommodated our early morning departure.
Upon arrival was a little tricky since there was a locked gate, and no cel reception at the gate, and the intercom wasn't working. I don't like the fluorescent lights in some of the rooms, but that's minor. The only major issue we had with the rooms was the hot water for showers -- for our family room, it was an old "on demand" propane heater that worked sporadically and extremely frustrating, I had to mess with it for 2 hours. In my parents room there was a new heater, but the propane valve was closed, and the staff was impatient as they were finishing work and didn't catch this issue, it took me 2 hours to figure it out!
