"Single traveller's first time in Iquitos"

I had two seperate reservations. I checked in for one night in a single basic room. Arrived at 9:30 am and had me in my room early. Very clean. I always see staff cleaning the common areas. Checked in after my week in the jungle. Very comfortable bed. Water pressure a bit weak but I think that's too be expected out here. I'm not sure. The two parrots are just so cute. Very friendly. Staff was nice. I've been lucky the front desk guy can speak English. But the rest of the staff I have encountered do not but I have gotten by just fine. I would definitely recommend this place. For 29 to 35 dollars US a night its great. The first stay I only had a fan and it was just fine. I was comfortable. I'm always hot. Second reservation I had A/C and a fan. Turned A/C off I was too cold. The fan was enough.
