Hotel La Casona

pretty quiet, which is a blessing in Iquitos, where mototaxis are everywhere. clean rooms, if not a bit too small. depending on the season, room with fan is enough, no need for AC. would recommend!

For quality value in Iquitos it does not get much better

This is my first choice when booking a room in Iquitos. Nice rooms and great service at a good price.

This was my second stay at La Casona. It was great. It's great place in a great location with great rates. If your looking for a "five star hotel" you'll have to avoid the city of Iquitos all-together ;)

As before, the staff here seem genuinely glad we chose their hotel. We arrived early and they had our room ready even before check-in time, which is always a plus when carrying baggage. The WiFi was strong in the room (#131) and the AC worked great. There was never a lack of hot water in the shower. This is not an upscale hotel, but it's decent lodging and clean, and the price is definitely right. They also now own an Event Center several blocks away, and guests have passes to use the outdoor pool. The water was crystal clear and there were only 3 other people there when we went. It was like a private retreat. For me, the best part of La Casona is the location. I like walking in downtown and on the Malecon, and for that, it can't be beat.

Very friendly staff that made a tasty breakfast every morning. I really loved staying in Getsemani, it had a great local vibe. The room is pretty bare bones, but the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. A good value for what you're spending.

All and all a good stay and good value. The only suggestion for future guests is to bring your own pillow. Otherwise friendly and helpful staff.

I only spent my sleeping hours at this hotel. I was out and about most of the time otherwise. A simple hotel for people traveling on a budget Good for single travelers and on a budget

We were very happy with Hotel La Casona. It's about a 10 min. walk to the most bustling part of Cusco, but it was nice to be away from some of the noise at night. The owner is so helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even accommodated us for breakfast as early as we needed to leave. I started to get sick during my time in Cusco, and she even brought me medicine and checked with my friends to ask how I was feeling. if anyone is in the courtyard making noise at night, you can definitely hear them from your room, but that would be the only negative thing I could say. I would definitely go back to Hotel La Casona if I visit Cusco again.
