Hotel La Casona

I stayed here only 2 nights - before and after going to a lodge on the Amazon. While the room was tiny, the bed was comfortable enough. Also, my room was back from the awful Iquitos street noise (Mototaxis beeping constantly), and that was a welcomed feature, esp the second night when I got sick to my stomach. When I approached the night desk person, he was nice enough to have someone come down and help me clean up the mess. Because of that episode I can't say that I have a positive impression of Iquitos - but not because of the hotel.

Best value of our trip. Our room was quiet and clean and breakfast was included.

hotel in general quite nice but service wasnt great and half of services listed not available. the 24hr room service means you can come to the reception and buy a soft drink from the fridge. also tried to overcharge us on arrival and wanted to charge extra for airconditioning which says is included

The staff here was great! So helpful. They took great care of us and we felt safe here.

La Casona offers a nice room with ac for a good price. The staff were very friendly and the hotel has good places to sit and read next to the lobby. Also, the breakfast isn't bad. Only complaint is that the room they gave me had a strong stuffy odor because of the ac and no windows and the cleaning staff were very loud as I was next to the storage/cleaning closets. Other than that, I was left alone and had a good experience.

The hotel was nice, only 2 blocks away from the river. It was under a bit of construction in the day time so I'm sure the rooms will be freshened up a bit.

Nice hotel. Room had no AC and no where to request AC on Expedia when making reservations. Would be nice if Expedia would add a place to request AC.

Good for the price, loacted in the center near to everything. Very loud at night, hard to sleep lots of noise comimg from the bar close to it. The frontdesk even gave us earplugs when we checked in.

The staff helped me get the local services I needed. Very friendly. They made me feel at home right away.

Very nice, secure and clean hotel in Iquitos for very affordable price. Rooms are clean and air conditioned, staff is very nice and helpful. You wouldn't regret staying there.
