The location was very convenient in the new town. Close to Princes Street and the train station. It's a good space to stay for a few days with a good kitchenette including washing machine and dishwasher. Comfortable bed. Good natural light.

No-one ever responded to my request for an early check-in (one hour early). The arrival instructions weren't clear on exactly which apartment was mine. This was due to poor mobile reception and the pictures did not load until much later after I had access to the apartment. Hence, I sat in the stairwell (outside the wrong door) until 5 minutes before the check-in time then tried two doors until my one opened then struggled up another flight of awkward stairs with luggage. It needs to be noted much higher in the advertisement that there is no lift. The water stopped twice during my visit and this was particularly stressful because it's not easy to get hold of anyone and messages aren't answered very quickly. Service contact seemed to be automated? It's not particularly quiet due to the rubbish bin collections that happen at all hours right outside. There aren't pleasant views as noted; one is to a dirty alley and the other to a pigeon roof and a neighbour's bedroom. It was very expensive and I couldn't afford to stay here again when I'm back.
