JOIVY Tasteful Studios on Rose South

The house was very cozy and clean, the check in is easy and very well explained. The location is amazing, nice little pubs a few meters away and very close to all the attractions. We never had to take the bus.

I would have added a few more cleaning supplies (a broom, plastic bags for the waste) but otherwise it was a spectacular stay.

Stunning studio with excellent access to restaurants and shops.

Access was very poor. Via a dark dirty alley. Entry door was difficult to find and photos supplied were inaccurate. Plus need clearer instructions ref. Flights of stairs. Very tricky for elderly people with luggage.

We were so disappointed with the location. I have attached photographers of the street scene we were met with and further photographs of the of the growing rubbish. The rubbish discarded in the road outside the large bins should evidence of vermin. See attached photographs. I was puzzled why two sets of ear plugs were supplied. We worked it out when the bottle banks were emptied in the early hours. The steps leading to the third floor were step, narrow of a spiral design, not easier negotiated with luggage. The accommodation was clean and well presented, however the low sloping celling in the bedroom and bathroom was annoying and added to the cramp feel of these areas. We were unable to open the wardrobe doors due to lack of space between the fitted wardrobe and the bed. All communication was via email in the first instance followed by text message. I had to eventually make a phone call to gain the access codes to the apartment. I would not recommend this accommodation.

Any positive comments and views we had about this accommodation was dismissed by the whole experience.

Great location, modern furnishings and a nice nespresso machine. Staff were very responsive to our messages.

The cleaners had left it still a bit dirty. Stains on the walls, smell of drain.

La localisation est parfaite pour une première fois dans la ville. Tout accessible à pied. Propre et agréable. C’est top.

L’entrée n’est pas « belle » , avec les poubelles devant. Mais aucun problème d’odeurs ni de sécurité, au contraire entrée sécurisée, donc pour nous ce n’est vraiment rien. Attention à ceux qui ont de grosses valises : escaliers charmants mais étroits. Préférez de petits bagages comme nous, c’est parfait.

La posizione è centrale e ottima per visitare la città. La stazione di Waverly si raggiunge in 10min a piedi e in poco più tempo si arriva al castello. In zona sono presenti due supermarket e tanti locali dove mangiare. Le dimensioni dell'appartamento sono buone (il letto è un pò più piccolo di un matrimoniale standard) e il bagno è grande. La cucina è dotata di frigo, bollitore elettrico, tostapane, forno, macchinetta caffè, lavatrice e lavastoviglie (ma non c'è il relativo detersivo). Indicazioni per il check-in solo via mail.

Il vicolo ove si trova l'ingresso è abbastanza trascurato e frequentato da senza tetto. La pulizia dell'appartamento lasciava molto a desiderare: capelli e ciuffi di polvere erano un pò dappertutto e non c'era una scopa (o aspirapolvere) e un secchio per pulire. Minima la dotazione di stoviglie e posate (4 di tutto), pentolame (manca una pentola di medie dimensioni) il che costringe a lavaggi dopo ogni pasto. Assente anche un microonde. Scarsa anche la dotazione del bagno (due soli tubetti di bagno schiuma e due di shampoo) finiti dopo due docce.
