"Better off sleeping on the street"

Nothing, it was absolutely terrible

Rooms were filthy, had to move rooms twice as each had increasing problems, one was really dirty, one had no hot water, it was horrific. Then the staff played extremely loud music every night, and the hotel manager was unable to get them to stop, so you can’t even get a night of sleep The free cancellation is a lie: they ask you to send payment right after booking. Such an awful experience
