"Great short break"

The location is excellent, right infront of Lake Ashi and face Mount Fuji. Able to see the lake, cruise and near to the MotoHakone ferry terminal Far from the city but great location for one day sightseeing No eatery nearby as all closed at 4pm except one Italian restaurant that closed at 7pm. It was great dinner at La Terrazza The Unagi restaurant at lunch was superb too. Must try No staff manned the property. The staff has very little understanding of English through virtual call. Could understand our requests

Onsen in my room, all enjoyed it. Super good experience

Fully equipped. Nice view. Clean. Near amenities.

I wasn’t informed of the meal plans in advance. Unsure if the hot spring water is natural or recycled and reheated.

The location was exceptional, with beautiful views of Lake Ashi and easy access to the area's attractions. We especially enjoyed renting a car, which gave us the freedom to explore Hakone at our own pace. The floating torii gate was visible from the property, and we were fortunate to catch glimpses of Mount Fuji through the haze. The peaceful setting and natural beauty made this one of the highlights of our trip.

The footbath and onsen were such a special treat. The view from the balcony was beautiful.

The layout of the bedroom was strange. Very little room besides the beds.

The vista of the lake and Mt Fuji are excellent! It is an easy walk to the village and the check in is easy. The rooms are extremely well fitted and the electric BBQ is a great touch! The onsen is outstanding as is the deck with foot bath, extremely nice touches. Beds are beautiful and the layout of the room is great.

The fact the drinks do not get replaced everyday in my opinion is a slip, as well as the snacks. You pay good money and this would be an excellent added benefit for the money that is paid.
