Carpenters Cottage Quirky home Seaside town

Minehead, first time stay, and we loved it. A nice 10-15 mins walk to the beach from the cottage and the town on the doorstep. Town had a good variation of shops, and we would recommend Ziangs to all who visit.

Nothing really, but the cottage was a little uncomfortable for 4 of us. The windows looked like they hadn't been opened for a while, so didn't feel comfortable trying ... and it was very hot. Thought there might have been a rear terrace area to relax.

Decoration, location, comfort, separation of levels ...value for money compared to other places there.

Just the light switch was a little weirdly placed by the front door for the hall on the way up the stairs but that's all really..

Beautiful, clean and comfy. Nice home from home feel. Would definitely recommend. Everything on your doorstep too.

A beautiful,well equipped, and well maintained little cottage in a very quiet part of Minehead. All amenities within walking distance. Would highly recommend this property and will definitely be booking again.

The location was perfect. Close enough to the town for everything we needed but far enough away not to be distracted by noise. Nice little welcome pack meant we were able to enjoy a cuppa when we arrived before finding the shop to purchase the essentials. A little information pack letting us know how things worked and how to access the internet was useful. It also told us where to find local takeaways, great when you don’t want to cook on holiday! We missed a little outdoor space to sit and enjoy a morning cuppa in the nice weather, but knew this wasn’t available when we booked so we’re not disappointed by this. A bathmat to avoid slipping while taking a shower would have been beneficial. Both trivial points but neither affected our stay.

Excellent location, with wonderful facilities and a very nice design and modern amenities.

It is not big, perfect for a family

The location was good for walking along the coast path. The property has been renovated recently and that has been done well, making it an enjoyable place to stay. It was good value too.

The cottage is very compact but the best use has been made of the available space.

Absolute stunning, cottage. Perfect location. Absolutely spotless. Nothing was too much effort. Lovely message before our stay. Even decorated for our anniversary. Really made our weekend so special. Special gifts left for us. Wish we could book this forever. A perfect little home from home. 🥰

Nothing, absolutely everything was perfect.

The cottage is spotless. Everything is finished really well to a high standard and everything that you could need is there. It smells really fresh and clean. 2 minutes walk into the high street and a short walk down to the beach made it really convenient in location. Minehead is one of the nicest UK seaside towns we've been to it's kept very well and has a very friendly feel. The sofa bed was very large and easy to pull out at night and handy bedding bags made it quick to pack and tidy it all away each day - what a good idea they are! Very good communication for how to access. Parking right outside is restricted to 6pm-8am but we parked a very short distance further up the street and had no issues with this at all. All in all a fabulous time and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Minehead.
