Delightful Family Holiday Home in Blackpool

A real home away from home. The house was very clean and welcoming, with fresh bedding and towels provided. Great location, just one street back from the promenade and close to the tram stop at St Chards Road – perfect for getting around. Having two showers was ideal for the family, making things much easier. A perfect place for a family stay in Blackpool.

If I’m being really picky, a couple of the blinds couldn’t be opened as the control sticks were missing. It would also be handy to have a soft brush available for sweeping the floor.

House was dirty , smelly . Back yard was awfully, gate hanging off not secure at all. Found alternative accommodation, waiting on booking. Com getting back to me xx

Poor quality mattress Lack of bedroom furniture in single rooms. No hot water in the upstairs shower. Poor standards of cleanliness throughout. Rear gate unsecured. Lack of cooking utensils ie: baking trays

nothing, pictures are very misleading !!! if i could have paid for somewhere else and left - i would have !! late response to my consents and then ignored !

on arrival property had old carpets and chairs in the front garden piled up , house smelt stale and had wet towels hanging all over the property. The bin in the kitchen was 1/2 full of rubbish the kettle had grub all over it , cutely draw was full of crumbs / dirt and cutlery badly marked , random items such as fuses, batteries , elastic bands broken plastic bits mixed in with the cutlery ! the fridge stank and was marked where old food / juices had lay . seals full of crumbs / dirt - down stairs shower was fixed on a very hot setting( no one could use it - thank god it was me who went to use first and not my kids ) and couldn’t be moved glass doors to shower lent broken against the wall - upstairs shower didn’t work at all !!! bedroom were very basic bed . just a bed with old looking bedding and that was it - two lamps one broke . neighbour next door stands at all hrs at the back ( by bedroom ) clearing their throat and spitting it out . oh and by the back door was a bucket 1/2 full of old cigarettes butts !!! lovely 🤢 we could not shower , or eat here. we didn’t not feel we could relaxed in this setting as it was so dirty !!! not even good nights sleep - avoid avoid avoid !!! you will be ignored if you raise concerns- i had to take this to booking.com and they could only get £43 back from £242 . even with pictures provided

near the shops. decent parking.

heating on constantly and couldn't turn down or off. no smoke alarms working at all in building. only 1 key for property, which was a major issue as couldn't leave property secure if anyone left to go out. no outside light working at all for garden. windows in 2 bedrooms couldn't open, the blinds in property had no attachments to close or open. bedding was shameful let alone the mattresses on beds, had to leave what windows we could find to open as heating was constantly on. although the weather was beautiful.
