Delightful Family Holiday Home in Blackpool

Lovely spacious house Great kitchen, lounge and dining room 5minute walk to beach

Description said garden. Dogs had to toilet on a meter wide alley/concrete area out the back. Could not shower during our stay. One shower only cold water. Second shower blocked drain and leaked outside of shower. Double beds uncomfortable. Very thin duvets. No lamp shade in bedroom and very basic.

Location is good to get onto the main front of Blackpool. Good area for shops and food

Property was not cleaned well. It smelt, there was dust and dirt and the rooms are in a poor state. Bedding didn’t match and beds uncomfortable, pillows were all flat as a pancake and there was only one pillow per bed. Poorly decorated , holes in walls, doors don’t close on bedroom door, and give prison sell vibes as one only had a single bed in it and nothing else, not even a cupboard. shower didn’t get hot at all, had to have a cold shower. Only 3 forks for a group of 8, and there was no towels for two of the group. Sofa bed room downstairs by the toilet and it was filthy.

We arrived at the place turned the living room light on and all of downstairs electric blew. All light bulbs popped. The cleanliness was abysmal, hair blocking both bathroom plug holes. The benches weren't wiped. Bodily fluids on most fabrics within the home such as curtains and bedding. The dirtiest mop I've ever seen was left out in the middle of the kitchen. We complained to the landlord immediately and he assured a cleaner would be sent straight out to fix the electrics and to clean what we weren't happy with. We popped out in the local area whilst the cleaner done this. When arriving back to the accommodation we realised nothing had been cleaned. The electrics were fixed however the glass from the broken bulbs was still all over the floor and sofa. There was no visible fire alarms and the showers had no hot water. I would strongly advise anyone looking to book this accommodation to avoid it like the plague. Looks nothing like the images provided, very back dated and in an absolutely disgusting condition. All floors marked/ stained the fridge had an awful smell. Whole family refused to eat in the accommodation and had to attend local shops to purchase new towels and bedding as the ones provided were stained and smelt awful. There was also mold around the bedroom windows.
