Crown Ridge Miners Cottage

A really comfortable and quiet place. The cottage is clean with modern decor. Lovely to have farm animals outside the cottage. Great location close to walking tracks and Paeroa. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perhaps an extra blanket (one wasn't enough on for the very cold night) and pillow for the sofa bed.

This very clean and comfortable cottage is situated in a very quiet, private and beautiful rural location making it ideal for a romantic getaway for couples. The friendly hosts also provided a complimentary bottle of wine which was greatly appreciated.

The only slight negative was that the small heater in the dining/lounge area did not provide much heat on a very cold winter evening, although this obviously wouldn't be a concern in the warmer seasons.

Absolutely adorable and cozy place! I instantly felt comfortable and had a great stay. Would definitely come back and stay a few days.

The idea of staying in a miners cottage, so it exceeded our expectation in comfort, ease of parking, the cottage was pristine clean and the bed very comfortable with lots of extra blankets for the colder weather. We liked being beside the well cared for anmals and sitting out watching beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the quirkiness of some of the decor, the kauri Benchtop, the display table and especially the photos on the walls.

Maybe a more efficient heater for those old mornings and evenings.

Quiet rural and comfortable, had a bonus of farm animals (sheep and hens) and a complimentary bottle of wine. Good instructions on how to get to the cottage and ease of access. Hosts had good communication and checked that we were ok when we arrived.

Hosts slamming car doors multiple times at 8am Saturday morning.

Comfy beds, warm rooms, great farm/bush views, complimentary wine, very well fitted out, lovely bathroom & kitchenette, solar lighting was great
