Crown Ridge Miners Cottage

Location in a rural setting was perfect

KItchen equipment was a bit sparse. We would have liked to have been able to use a small pot with lid and a microwave. Suggestion: Extend the entry deck to provide for table and seating; BBQ and set up on lower level is not appealing.

Really beautiful spot overlooking crown ridge. Very peaceful and well equipped cabin. Loved the little garden and all the gold mine related pictures and artifacts. Enjoyed the bottle of wine and the blue hydrangeas in the vase added a nice touch. We bought freshly laid eggs from the chickens in the next garden and they were wonderful poached on toast with a local Avocado.

Location to all the activities in the area and township. It was clean and quant

Not huge so wouldn’t want to spend too much time I there and the couch bed wasn’t the comfiest.

Very charming cottage! Decorated with taste and old historical details of the mining history of the region. It’s very cozy and comfortable. It’s super clean and very well equipped. Views and terrace are delightful with direct access to animal farm (sheep and chickens). A lot of historical trails in the area. The family who owns the cottage is lovely.

Maybe a microwave would be nice even if the little oven do the trick.

Cosy, relaxed, lovely furnishings, quiet,

The remote location. No TV. No wifi. Sheep and chooks in the adjoining paddock. The near by hiking trails of the gorge were beautiful.

Told us that there is a bbq to be used by us. Let us know that we could have purchased fresh eggs.
