"Fabulous . We hiked the gorge and was a great intro to NZ ."

Gorgeous . Loved our stay here . Fresh eggs for Brekky , lovely deck overlooking the hens and sheep . Obvious the hosts love their cottage and their business Would love to stay again .

"Fabulous accommodation"

Fabulous little gem to have found. Off the grid accommodation that exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped including a stove top and small oven toaster and a gas BBQ. We loved watching the chickens and sheep. Would definitely recommend

"Super comfy cabin surrounded by animals and nature"

Amazing cottage surrounded by farm animals and nature. Super comfy and clean. The kitchen also had everything you could need (fresh eggs are also available upon request). Super friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying here!

"A long weekend in the Karangahake Gorge was very restful, but also inspiring."

We particularly loved the location. We came for the Highland Games in Paeroa which was nearby. They were fantastic! There were also so many walks to explore nearby and the area is just stunning. The cottage was full of character, spotlessly clean, just perfect. Great value for money too.

"Best place in the area."

I thought this was in a field somewhere, but it’s right next to another house. I liked being without wifi or tv 😀 Perfectly private and comfortable, well equipped, no rooster! I would recommend this place.
